How we publish credible work.
Effective from: 28 October 2026. These standards apply to Socrion articles, research-led website copy, and public guidance.
The listed sources were consulted and checked against the article's material factual claims before publication. The label means those sources support the claims as presented; it does not mean every source is independent, that every statement is a factual claim, or that Socrion, Google, or another third party has certified the article.
Source selection
- Primary sources are preferred for platform rules, technical guidance, standards, product behaviour, and official announcements.
- Recognised research bodies and established studies are used for measured trends and market evidence.
- Commercial blogs and commentary may be used when their methodology and limits are clear.
- Important numbers are presented with their market, period, sample, and methodology where those details affect interpretation.
Review and responsibility
- Current claims are checked against the linked source material before publication.
- Facts, interpretation, and Socrion's commercial judgement are kept distinct where a reader could otherwise confuse them.
- Visibility, impressions, and other leading indicators are not presented as proof of revenue or causation.
- Articles show publication dates and, where a substantive update occurred, an updated date.
- Socrion remains responsible for the final published wording, regardless of which tools supported drafting or research.
Use of AI
AI may support research organisation, drafting, editing, comparison, and quality checks. It does not receive automatic authority. Material claims still need evidence, and the final copy is reviewed for accuracy, usefulness, tone, confidentiality, and commercial sense before publication.
Client-confidential or commercially sensitive information is not used as public article material or entered into an external AI service unless the client has explicitly approved that use and the handling route. Where useful context can be safely anonymised or processed locally, Socrion prefers that route.
Authorship and bylines
Articles identify Socrion as publisher. A named individual is shown as author or reviewer only when that person has genuinely accepted editorial responsibility for the piece. We do not manufacture expert bylines to decorate structured data.
Corrections and updates
If a material factual error is identified, Socrion will review the source, correct the public article where warranted, and update the modification date when the change is substantive. Minor spelling, formatting, or technical changes do not automatically reset an article's editorial date.
To flag a possible error, email hello@socrion.co.uk with the page URL and the point that needs review.
What these standards do not promise
Structured data, citations, images, and clear sourcing can help readers and search systems understand a page. They do not guarantee rankings, inclusion in AI answers, citations by third parties, traffic, leads, or revenue.
